Training of Staff
All Flexi cleaning operatives, whether TUPE transferees or newly recruited staff, receive Ideal’s Company Induction Training which includes instruction on:
- Health and Safety at work
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- The safe use of Cleaning Agents
- Completion of Time and Attendance Records
- Discipline and our Code of Conduct
- The Cleaning Specification and Customer Care
Contract specific and continuous training for our staff is a key responsibility of our management team. The ongoing training of each employee is carried out by our Area Supervisors, who train our employees in accordance with Ideal cleaning standards and in line with the individual site and contract specification.
Security and Vetting of Staff
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of everyone associated with our organisation, we expect our staff to share in this commitment. Before any operative is sent out on a job, they must undergo our rigorous security and vetting process.
Our HR team has undergone document authenticity This further supports our commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of all those that are associated with our organisation and to comply with current legislation. The minimum documentation includes:
2 written references, proof of address, identification documents, next to kin details, permission to work in UK, and passes a cleaning protocols interview.
